Fire at number 20

At about 12.30 on Saturday night, my son woke me to call 999 for the fire brigade as it appeared that our garage was on fire. On further investigation, we discovered a motor bike had been set on fire outside our garage door. I had noticed a motor bike parked outside my neighbour's garage that morning and again when I returned later that day, I thought it a little strange but would probably be gone soon.
After the fire brigade had put out the fire, which was pretty scary as of course the petrol tank exploded, Joe recognised the bike, as he had seen it parked in the road. Anyway to cut a long story short, I deduced that it might belong to no 14 and it did, Robin had reported it stolen on Friday night. He was of course very upset, particularly when he realised that the thieves had only managed to push it round to the back lane were it had sat all the next day.

If a web forum had existed I could have flagged up an unexplained motor bike and saved the fire brigade and ourselves a lot of hassle. Robin has kindly sorted Devonshire Road out with our very own forum, we can use it to post alerts/warn/lost property/swap/sale or just chat or, any one fancy a pint? etc
